Job Description
- To participate in the
development, maintenance and support of application and platform software
products and components
- Translating business
requirements into technical and system specifications;
- Designing, developing and
testing software and systems
- Enhancing and maintaining
software and systems to a healthy and stable state
- Work closely with the
support team and the customer in order to meet challenging project
delivery and time lines
- Participate in research,
design and development efforts to develop new products in line with
established roadmaps
- Research and explore new
technologies in line with the product strategy and development direction

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering
(Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or
equivalent.
- Preferably IT fresh
graduates or Software Engineer with around 1 year of
experience/familiarity with either one of the essential skills listed
below
Essential Skills
- C/C++, Java and its related
technologies (i.e JSP/Servlet)
- Java frameworks and
technologies (i.e Object-Relation Mapping, JMS)
- Prior experience with
Javascript /Jquery
- Databases: MySQL 4.1/5.0/5,
Oracle
- Various open source
technologies (Struts, Spring, Jasper, Ibatis)
- Shell scripting on UNIX
platforms
- Knowledge of other technical
tools such as Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse
