Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented UI/UX Designer Assistant Intern to join our design team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a vibrant environment, working closely with experienced professionals on impactful design projects. Your contributions will be vital in creating intuitive user interfaces and enhancing user experiences across our digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that effectively address user needs and business objectives.
- Utilize advanced graphic design skills to produce visually compelling assets, including icons, illustrations, and marketing materials that align with our brand identity.
- Conduct thorough user research and usability testing, employing various methods to derive actionable insights for continuous design improvements.
- Maintain and update comprehensive design documentation and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Prepare and present engaging presentations and design critiques, clearly articulating design rationale and decisions.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas and solutions for both UI and graphic design initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX and graphic design, bringing fresh perspectives to the team.
- Collaborate with our development team to create seamless user interfaces and engaging user experiences.
- Assist in delivering rapid iteration, support, and fixes for customer-facing design issues.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, or similar, demonstrated through a diverse portfolio showcasing your work.
- Familiarity in creating and optimizing graphics for web and mobile platforms.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress Elementor and their design capabilities, including theme customization.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices, with the ability to create seamless experiences across devices.
- Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and your creative process.
- Possess a strong sense of responsibility, embracing a positive attitude, and pursuing a passion for the IT field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- A genuine passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
