Job Description

Repair & Refurbish Operations

·        Ensuring timely and efficient processing of IT equipment (Mainly PC/Desktop/ Workstation, Laptop, 

      Servers etc) not limit to receiving, segregation, testing, troubleshooting, repair/refurbishment,

      part-harvesting software installation, cleaning & packing, etc. in accordingly to advisory provide by

      upstream, Data sanitisation, spare parts management (forecast and order), and outbound functions

      /activities. 

·        Ensure the repair/audit operations meet the SLA on turn-around-time, yield, and repair quality. 

·        Complete verbal or written work instructions as per company-provided asset management systems.

·        Ensuring accurate completion of asset auditing data entry into the company-provided asset

      management systems.

·        Generate repair/audit reports.

 

Additional Technical Skills (Expectation)

·        Basis to Intermediate knowledge on diagnostic, setup, configuration and/or repair on IT equipment – particularly on PC/Desktop/Workstation, laptop, network equipment and server

 

On-site Services

·        Perform decommission and validation of assets inclusive of servers and IT equipment.

·        Perform data erasure/sanitisations and/or physical destruction (shredding/ degaussing/crushing) for

      storage media (e.g. HDD, SSD, magnetic tape etc.)

 

 Facility, Property and Equipment Maintenance

·        Ensure adherences to safe operations of any machinery activities.

·        Lead by good example on operating machinery to downstream as required.

·        Provide layman work instructions to downstream when deemed require.

 

Environment Health and Safety and Security

·        Adhere to all EHS and Security Policies as instructed set in Company Integrated

      Management System.

·        Observe safety at all time on work procedures and practices. Report to upstream if necessary for

      safety improvement and awareness.

 

Quality and Value add

·        Ensuring the quality of processes but not limit to receiving, testing, repair, technical assessment,

      asset segregations, data media erasure/sanitisations and reporting.

·        Provide feedback and suggestions to the upstream to improve value realisation and productivity

      gains.

 

Housekeeping

·        Observe clean desk polices and ensuring work area remains tidy, clean & neat.
