You will be mentored directly by our CTO, a senior Data Architect & Backend Engineer with expertise in Big Data Engineering, high-performance data pipelines, scalable Backend Systems Architecture for thousands of users, Blockchain Infrastructure, and future-proofing cultural assets. This is a rare opportunity to have your code reviewed by an industry veteran who builds deep-tech systems.Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate mobile features using Flutter/Dart.
- Integrate frontend screens with complex backend APIs designed by our CTO.
- Participate in weekly Sprint Syncs in Ipoh to test app features (GPS/QR) at local merchant locations.
- Contribute to the roadmap of a Social Enterprise aimed at cultural preservation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
- Foundational knowledge of Flutter or strong logic in Object-Oriented Programming.
- A passion for Social Impact — using tech to help people and preserve culture.
- Highly disciplined for remote work and eager to learn from high-level technical mentors.
Work Location
Hybrid Remote-First
- Remote-First: Code and work flexibly while collaborating via professional dev tools (GitHub/Slack) with our CTO.
- Weekly Ipoh Sync: Meet in-person with the Project Lead/Founder every week in Ipoh for strategy, ground-truth field testing at heritage sites, and rapid prototyping.
Location: Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia
Duration: 3 - 6 Months
Target Start Date: May 2026
Allowance: RM 700 + Performance Milestone Bonuses
