Job Description

Task description:

There are the tasks that you may go thru during internship.

  • DOORS Porting

    • These tasks, RM engineer will provide the trainings according to our RM standard training plan.

    • Import and baseline (documentation) the customer requirements into the system. 

    • Import, migration, consolidation process needed to trace customer requirements specification.

  • Co-ordinate a small project assigned by RM engineer.
  • Work with SW engineers to understand their open questions on requirements
    • These will depend if there is any small improvement project, then we will assign to the interns.
    • RM engineer will also assign tasks to interns to align the open questions related to customer spec where interns may need to discuss with engineers. (Project Co-ordinator)
  • Support Product Testing Manager to perform SW test and prepare samples.
    • PTM will assign task to interns when he needs support.
  • Support Dashboard development, confluence, website and other automotive systems.
    • These are the sub tasks that RM engineer will assign to intern from time to time. So you will learn Power BI, Confluence, Excel & etc.
    • Analyze data by creating dashboard using PowerBI.
    • Create Excel Macros/ python scripts to automate some process.
  • Learning Automotive Product Development Processes / Automotive Standard  (PDMK / SMK / TS16949 & etc)
    • You guys can refer to the training links to learn when you have time or if you are interested. You can ask us if you have anything don’t understand.

*Students who wish to have trainings or explorer things that relevant to their background can request to team supervisors/any RM engineers, we will try to fulfill students’ requests by scheduling trainings or workshops with other respective departments as well.

Requirements

Prefer Engineering student especially Software Engineering & Electronics or with software related field • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a distributed team structure
• Good problem-solving skills and customer focused disposition
• Capability to analyze technical problems including problem-solving methods
• Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office products
• Additional communication skills of languages such as Japanese, Korean, German, Chinese etc. is a plus as you may need to deal with people from other countries
